The 3570.50 is one of the best-known references of the manual-wind Speedmaster Professional — the watch lineage tied to the Apollo program. The classic Moonwatch wears a Hesalite (acrylic) crystal with a solid caseback — the configuration tied to the watch's heritage. A separate sapphire-sandwich version exists in the family; collectors who want the heritage look specifically seek the Hesalite.

Across its run there are subtle differences in dial printing and the tachymeter bezel (such as the much-discussed "dot over ninety" detail on certain bezels). These are minor but collectible distinctions worth confirming.
